e-Aadhaar is a password-protected electronic copy of Aadhaar, digitally signed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). This electronic copy of your Aadhaar is as valid as your physical copy, allowing you to use your ID safely and conveniently.

e Aadhar Card Download
- To Download e Aadhar Card visit the official myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in website and click the Download Aadhaar option from the available services.
Note – To download Aadhar card, your mobile number must be linked to Aadhar card.
- Once you are on eAadhaar Download page, choose any one of the options from Aadhaar Number, Enrolment ID Number, Virtual ID Number, and enter the number. After that, enter the Captcha and click on the Sent OTP button.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter it and click on the Verify & Download button.
Note – If you want, you can mask your Aadhaar card, this will make only the last four digits of your Aadhaar visible and the first 8 digits **** **** 0000 are not visible like this.
- Finally, your Aadhar card will be downloaded, its password will be hidden in your Name and Year of date of birth.
A password of eAadhaar is a combination of the first 4 letters of the name in CAPITAL and the year of birth (YYYY).
