The CM Kisan Yojana Odisha, launched on September 8, 2024, aims to provide crucial financial support to small, marginal, and landless farmers. The CM KISAN portal will be a single platform where all types of farmers can register to benefit from both the PM KISAN and CM KISAN schemes, based on their eligibility.
This portal is mainly for small and marginal farmers, as well as landless farming families in rural areas.

Benefits of CM KISAN & PM KISAN
- For Small & Marginal Farmers:
- Eligible small and marginal farmers in rural areas will receive ₹4,000 per year under CM KISAN, and urban and rural farmers will get ₹6,000 per year under PM KISAN, totaling ₹10,000 annually from both schemes.
- Medium & Large Farmers:
- Eligible medium and large farmers, both in urban and rural areas, will receive ₹6,000 per year in 3 installments under the PM KISAN scheme, as they qualify only for this scheme.
- Landless Agricultural Households:
- Landless farming households under the CM KISAN scheme will receive ₹12,500 in three installments to help improve their income and well-being.

Eligibility Criteria for CM Kisan
To benefit from the CM Kisan Yojana, farmers must meet the following conditions:
- Small and Marginal farmers in rural areas.
- Landless Agricultural Households (Must be engaged in agriculture but do not own land.) can apply.
- Both components require the applicant to be a permanent Resident of Odisha.
- A beneficiary should have a valid Aadhaar-Seeded bank account.
Exclusion Criteria for CM Kisan
- Minors (under 18 years old).
- Medium and Large Farmers.
- Multiple family members apply from the same household.
- Farmers, their spouses, or family members who pay Income Tax or are Government/PSU Employees, including retired staff and pensioners.
- Deceased persons.
- Former or current holders of high-ranking positions like Ministers, MPs, MLAs, Mayors, or Panchayat Chairpersons.
- Professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, accountants, and architects are registered with professional bodies.
- Farmers from urban areas.
- Farmers without a valid ration card.

CM Kisan Yojana Odisha Apply Online
Farmers can apply for CM Kisan Yojana online using the steps below.
- To apply for CM Kisan Yojana visit the official portal cmkisan.odisha.gov.in portal after that click on the Farmer Registration button.
- Before you apply make sure you follow all the Instructions for New Farmer Registration after that you tick the mark on Declaration and click on the Proceed button.
- Now enter your Aadhaar No., Captcha, and click the GET OTP button then enter your personal, landholding, and bank account details and upload required documents after completing the application, Submit it online.
